What we do with your details.

Who is responsible

RTHS AB, Gothenburg, Sweden, is the data controller for this website. If you want to reach us about anything on this page, write to info@rthsscanner.com.

What we collect

Only what you enter into a form on this site:

• Your email address, which is the one required field.
• Your name, if you give it.
• A short line about who you are, or your selection from the dropdown on the migraine page, if you give it.

We do not ask for, and do not want, anything more than that. Please do not send us medical details through this form.

If you tell us you get migraines

The dropdown on the migraine page lets you say that you get migraines or that you treat people who do. Saying you get migraines is information about your health, which European law treats as a special category and protects more strictly. We only hold it because you chose to tell us, we use it for nothing except knowing who we are writing to, and you can withdraw that at any time by asking us to delete your entry.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

To write to you when there is something worth telling you about RTHS, and to reply if you have asked us something. The legal basis is your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and for anything health-related your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a). You gave that consent by submitting the form, and you can take it back at any time.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until it is clear we are not going to write to you after all. If you ask us to delete your entry we will do it, and we will not keep a copy to remember that you asked.

Who else touches it

Two companies handle the data on our behalf, and neither is allowed to use it for their own purposes:

• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Resend, which delivers the form submission to our inbox as an email.

Beyond that, nobody. We do not sell your details, we do not trade them, and we do not pass them to advertisers.

Analytics, and the absence of cookies

This site sets no cookies and does not track you across other websites, which is why you were not shown a cookie banner.

We do measure how the site is used, through Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. That records things like which page was viewed, roughly which country the visit came from, and how quickly the page loaded. It is aggregated, it does not use cookies or a persistent identifier, and it does not tell us who you are.

The fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them and Google sees your IP address in the process.

What you can ask us to do

Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict what we do with it, hand it over in a portable form, or stop processing it altogether. You can also withdraw your consent at any point, which does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.

Write to info@rthsscanner.com and we will deal with it. If you think we have handled your data badly, you are entitled to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.

Changes to this page

If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top.
